Our Story

learn about the country buddies story

Looking for the best care for your child can be a challenge, as finding an environment which is suited to your families needs and offers a service which is both nurturing and educating can often become overwhelming. Today more than ever families are constantly being asked to make difficult decisions about their children’s care and welfare. We do not believe in a “one size fits all” regime and therefore have created a family owned and operated service, looking out for the individual needs of families.

The Proprietor and Directors of each centre will manage and work closely with educators and families to acknowledge that all children are unique and have individual requirements which may mean incorporating their culture and family backgrounds, all of which are encouraged to be proud of and embraced.

At Country Buddies we will endeavor to create as many opportunities as possible to allow your child to explore, create, dig, build, swing, touch, listen and watch.  Our overall philosphy is that children learn through play based experiences and should continually be encouraged to explore their individual talents, personalities, skills and interests.

Country  Buddies  Wahgunyah  has  a  strong  relationship  with  the  local  community , and we've been  part  of  the  Corowa  Rotary  Federation  Parade  for  a  number  of  years. We have  made  strong  connections  with  local  schools  which  provides  a  strong  transition  pathway for our beautiful children.

Making you feel welcome

Country Buddies Wahgunyah work with all families to cater for every childs uniqueness. With new families we communicate clearly and regularly. We give the families oppurtunites to come to the cenre and meet the educators aswell as getting their child familar with our Environment. an. We understand that for first time parents it is very difficult to place their child into the hands of strangers. Parents are notified that all educators either hold or study a Certificate III, Diploma or a Bachelor in Early Childhood Care and Education. To make children feel safe and secure educators communicate at the child's level and welcome them with a big, genuine smile!

Our Centre
Construction

Our purpose built, near new centre is light, bright, airy and inviting. Here at CBW we provide play-scapes that allow children to develop and refine their skills in things that interest them while maximising the opportunity for children to develop social skills, in a calm, positive and rewarding way. It also allows children to create things with other children their own age, developing their ability to make new friends. Educators endeavour to bring the outside in by bringing many of the natural resources into the room environment.

Real Food - Local Support
